Hi and Welcome! I'm Fiona and I grew up in the country but now live in a wonderful inner suburb of Sydney called Lilyfield. Life is good and I always have a project on the go. I have a gorgeous husband, two sweet kids, a cavoodle called Charlie, some chickens and a lot of painted furniture.
I love cooking, sewing, watercolours, fixing up our old house and most of all I am madly passionate about painting and restoring old furniture. Lilyfield Life is all about transforming your house into a home, without breaking the bank or buying new poor quality furniture. I always aim to make each piece unique and worthy of being loved again; creating art and beauty that will still be loved in years and years to come. Creating pieces that really speak to you as well as being functional.
I have a degree in Engineering and it helped me believe I can give anything a go. I hope I can inspire you to try your own DIY projects.
